Chelsea could pick up an unexpected cash boost in the coming days as they prepare to sell Angelo Gabriel to Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr,
The Blues are looking to continue their squad trimming policy, and moving Gabriel on will bring in an estimated £19.5m ($25.6m) transfer fee, for a player who failed to make a single first team appearance.
Chelsea paid £13m ($17m) to sign the 19-year-old from Brazilian side Santos in 2023 before loaning him to sister club Strasbourg last season.

He played 24 times for Strasbourg but failed to score, and the French side opted against a permanent deal on the teenager.
As per reports from Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, via the London Evening Standard, a deal is close to completion between the two clubs which would bring in around $8.5m in profit for Chelsea.
Al Nassr have already confirmed the release of former Manchester United defender Alex Telles but Gabriel will join former Premier League stars Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte alongside Ronaldo in Riyadh.
