Arsenal could be saying goodbye to one of their players in the upcoming January transfer window, despite keeping him over the summer.
Jakub Kiwior, who has struggled to make an impact this season, is reportedly keen to find new pastures, with competition in Mikel Arteta’s squad fiercer than ever.

Kiwior eyeing a new start
According to reports (via TBR Football), Kiwior has already made up his mind about leaving the Emirates in January. After just one league appearance this season, the Polish international seems frustrated with playing second fiddle to Arsenal’s other defensive options.
With Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jurrien Timber ahead of him in the pecking order, Kiwior sees limited opportunities in north London.
Kiwior, who was linked with a move back to Italy last summer, stayed with the Gunners due to a late decision by the club to keep him as cover.
However, his lack of game time has reignited his desire to move on. Arsenal fans may remember that Kiwior was initially touted as a versatile option in both left-back and centre-back roles, but it’s clear now that Arteta doesn’t see him fitting into the starting lineup anytime soon.
Arsenal will likely demand at least £15 million ($20m) for the defender, who is under contract until 2028. If Kiwior does return to Italy, it won’t come as a huge surprise — after all, he’s been linked with a move there for some time.
With competition heating up at Arsenal, Kiwior might just be the first to seek more regular football elsewhere. The Gunners’ January window could see another squad reshuffle as they continue their push for the Premier League title.
Arsenal fans will be watching closely to see if this potential departure opens the door for any exciting new arrivals.
