Chauncey Billups is the new head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers after reportedly agreeing to a five-year deal, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnaworski.
The deal reportedly includes a team option for the fifth year. Billups is set to be introduced at a press conference scheduled for Tuesday.

The Blazers moved on from Terry Stotts, who amassed a 402-318 regular-season record, leading the team to the postseason for eight consecutive years, however, they were knocked out in the first round five times, advancing to the Western Conference just once in 2019.
Billups, 44, has been instrumental in helping the Clippers improve their defence, while developing Paul George's playmaking in his one season as an assistant and will now link up with superstar Damian Lillard — a union of two of the most clutch point guards in NBA history.
Billups is a five-time NBA All-Star, winning an NBA championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004, where he was named Finals MVP.
