The team announced on Wednesday, Dec. 1 that Lillard will be out with an abdominal injury. The six-time All-Star missed Tuesday's game against the Pistons, marking only his second absence of the season.

Through 20 games, Lillard is averaging 21.5 points, 7.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds on .397/.302/.911 shooting splits. The Trail Blazers now have an 11-11 record following their win over Detroit, placing them ninth in the Western Conference standings.

The Trail Blazers announced on Wednesday, Dec. 1 that Lillard will be out for "at least 10 days" with the same lower abdominal tendinopathy injury.

Additionally, it appears as though it's an injury Lillard has been playing through for a while.

Lillard recently told the media that he's played with it "for a few years now" and that he's "kind of immune to playing with it." It was reported that Lillard dealt with the injury during Team USA's gold medal run at the Tokyo Olympics.
