The RBC Canadian Open is poised to be one of July’s biggest events in golf. Dustin Johnson, last year's runner-up, will make his return to Ontario. Bubba Watson, the 2015 runner-up, also is returning, his after a two-year absence from the event.

With Johnson, Watson and other top golfers in the field, fans can anticipate an intriguing matchup in one of the final events leading up to the PGA Championship. Here is all the information you need to know about the 2017 RBC Canadian Open, including some of the festivities that surround the event.

When is the 2017 RBC Canadian Open?

The Opening Ceremony of the 2017 RBC Canadian Open starts on July 27 at 10 a.m., with the tournament itself running through July 30. The event also will hold a Free Admission Day on July 25, which will include the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Where is the tournament being held?

For the third consecutive year, the RBC Canadian Open will be held at the Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville, Ontario. The 7,273-yard course has been home to the Canadian Open on 29 occasions, dating to 1977. In that span, Mike Weir is the only Canadian to win the event on home soil (2004). 

What time does it start?

         Round 1- Thursday, July 27 at 7 a.m.
         Round 2- Friday, July 28 at 7 a.m.
         Round 3- Saturday, July 29 at 8 a.m.
         Round 4 - Sunday, July 30 at 8 a.m.

How to watch the 2017 RBC Canadian Open?

Rounds 1 and 2 will be broadcasted on TSN, and the Golf Channel will start at 3 p.m. CBS and Global will take over coverage of the final two rounds, starting at 3 p.m.
