The Winnipeg Jets acquired blueliner Joe Morrow from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2018 draft prior to the NHL trade deadline on Monday.
Morrow, 25, tallied 11 points and is a minus-11 in 38 games this season. The Edmonton native was drafted 23rd overall in the 2011 draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, but made his NHL debut with the Boston Bruins during the 2014-15 campaign. He played parts of the past three seasons with the Bruins before signing with Montreal as a free agent last summer.
