LSU gymnastics results: Lady Tigers advance to finals of NCAA gymnastics championships image

LSU placed first in its NCAA gymnastics championship semifinal Thursday with a score of 197.4750. It advanced to Saturday's finals along with Florida.

Haleigh Bryant led the all-around competition with a score of 39.6875. 

Olivia Dunne did not compete. She has been sidelined by a leg injury. Dunne is listed as an alternate for two events Saturday.

LSU finished second in its first rotation — the beam — with a score of 49.2750, 0.1375 of a point behind California.

The Lady Tigers came in first in their second rotation — floor — with a score of 49.475, easily defeating the competition.

They placed third in their third rotation — vault — with a score of 49.250, just 0.025 of a point ahead of last-place Denver.

In their final rotation — bars — they finished second with a 49.4750 score, 0.0125 of a point behind Florida.

LSU and Florida await the two schools that will advance from Thursday's second semifinal session, which will begin at 9 p.m. ET.

The finals will air on ABC at 4 p.m. ET Saturday. They can also be live streamed on ESPN+, the ESPN app and Fubo, which offers a free trial.
