LeBron James developing HBO sitcom centered on sneaker culture image

LeBron James is becoming a major player in Hollywood. 

His company, Spring Hill Entertainment, a joint television and film venture with Warner Brothers, the four-time NBA MVP and three-time champion, already produces Starz hit comedy "Survivor's Remorse", set to begin its fourth season Aug. 20,  and NBC's "The Wall." Now, the outfit is set to add another show to its catalog. According to Shadow and Act, James and business partner Maverick Carter are combining forces with HBO to put together a sitcom centered on the sneaker culture. The show, still untitled, will focus on "two best friends and their wild employees at an up-and-coming sneaker shop outside L.A.."

It's fitting subject matter for James and Carter. James has a lifetime Nike contract worth a reported $1 billion and has 14 signature shoes under his belt. He also owns his own high-end sports fashion boutiqe—UKNWN

Spring Hill announced the show on its Instagram page Friday.
