Luke Willson

Hometown: LaSalle Ontario
NFL Team: Seattle Seahawks
Position: Tight End
Up Next:  at Tennessee Titans

Luke Willson had three receptions for 25 yards in Seattle's 12-9 win against San Francisco, seeing more targets and accumulating more receptions than starting tight end Jimmy Graham. But Wilson's most impressive moment, and the one that attracted the most eyeballs, came in the second quarter. He caught a short pass out in the flat after releasing from a block, and was off to the races. With 49ers defenders finally converging on him, Willson picked up a couple of extra yards with a creative maneuver.

Willson went without a catch in the Week 1 loss, but factored into the Seahawks offense in a more prominently role against San Francisco.

Jon Ryan

NFL Team: Seattle Seahawks
Position: Punter
Up Next: at Tennessee Titans

Jerry Hughes

Jon Ryan punted seven times in the Seahawks 12-9 victory over San Francisco. He averaged 38.4 yards per punt, and had three fall inside the 20. His longest punt of the day went 58 yards.

The Dallas Cowboys struggled against Denver in Week 2, giving up 42 points and failing to stop — or even slow down — the Broncos' offense. Denver quarterback Trevor Siemian went 22-of-32 for 231 yards and threw for four touchdowns. The Broncos had 178 rushing yards, and had two wide receivers — Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders — rack up more than 60 yards each.

While the Cowboys struggled in Denver, their special teams didn't. Kicker Dan Bailey drilled a 56-yard field goal, and punter Chris Jones averaged nearly 42 yards on his five punts on the day, landing two inside the 20.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

Hometown: Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec
NFL Team: Kansas City Chiefs
Position: Offensive Guard
Up Next:  at Arizona Cardinals (Monday)

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated Philadelphia 27-20 on Sunday to win their second straight game, thanks to yet another strong offensive showing. Quarterback Alex Smith went 21-of-28 for 251 yards and one touchdown, and rookie running back Kareem Hunt turned heads again when he picked up 81 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.

Eli Ankou

Hometown: Ottawa, Ontario
NFL Team: Jacksonville, Jaguars
Position: Defensive Line
Up Next:  vs. Baltimore Ravens

Jacksonville struggled to slow the Titans on Sunday, falling 37-16 at home. In the first half, though, Jacksonville's defense looked solid. It held Marcus Marriota and company to a pair of field goals and trailed by just three at halftime. Yet in the second half, the Titans took off. They put up 17 points in the third quarter and 14 in the fourth, all while holding Jacksonville at bay. The Jaguars didn't put up any second-half points until late in the fourth quarter, and by then it was far too late.

Brent Urban Brent Urban

Hometown: Mississauga Ontario
NFL Team: Baltimore Ravens
Position: Defensive End
Up Next:  at Jacksonville Jaguars

Baltimore cruised to 2-0 with ease on Sunday with a 24-10 win against Cleveland. The Ravens defense held the Browns rushing attack to just 93 total yards, and forced six turnovers in the win. Brent Urban had two solo tackles on Sunday and assisted on another.

Brett Jones

Hometown: Weyburn, Saskatchewan
NFL Team: New York Giants
Position: Center/Fullback
Up Next:  at Philadelphia Eagles

Jones and the Giants welcomed wideout Odell Beckham back to the lineup for their Monday night home opener against the Detroit Lions, but the result wasn't what they needed. New York lost 24-10, with Jones getting called for a costly holding penalty midway through the third quarter. The Giants were at the one-yard line and threatening to score to make it a 24-14 game. They ended up kicking a field goal en route to falling to 0-2 on the season.

David Onyemata

David Onyemata

Hometown: Lagos, Nigeria
NFL Team: New Orleans Saints
Position: Defensive Tackle
Up Next:  at Carolina Panthers

The Saints fell to 0-2 after losing to New England 36-20 on Sunday in New Orleans. Their defense was simply unable to stop the reigning champions. Tom Brady went 30-of-39 for 447 yards and three touchdowns, running the Patriots offense with ease. Tight end Rob Gronkowski picked up 116 yards and a touchdown himself, and running back Mike Gillislee had 69 yards on 18 carries. Simply put, the Patriots offense looked much better after failing to get past Kansas City in Week 1, and there was nothing Onyemata and New Orleans could do to slow it down.

TJ Jones

T.J. Jones

Hometown: Winnipeg, Manitoba
NFL Team: Detroit Lions
Position: Wide Receiver
Up Next: vs. Atlanta Falcons

After being targeted four times and making two receptions for 32 yards in a season-opening win over Arizona, Jones didn't get a single target in a Week 2 victory over the New York Giants.

Christian Covington

Christian Covington

Hometown: Vancouver, British Columbia
NFL Team:  Houston Texans
Position: Defensive Tackle
Up Next:  at New England Patriots

The Texans beat Cincinnati 13-9 on Thursday night, limiting the Bengals offense once again. Christian Covington had one solo tackle and assisted on two in the win. While quarterback Andy Dalton put up 224 yards, the rushing attack struggled. Joe Mixon — Cincinnati's leading rusher — ran for only 36 yards. The Bengals also failed to score a touchdown for the second straight week, kicking just three field goals in the loss.

Antony Auclair

Hometown: Montreal, Quebec
NFL Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Position: Tight End
Up Next:  at Minnesota Vikings

Tampa Bay flew past the Chicago Bears 29-7 in its season opener on Sunday. Quarterback Jameis Winston went 18-of-30 for 204 yards and a touchdown, and running back Jacquiezz Rodgers had 67 yards and a touchdown in the win. Rookie Antony Auclair wasn't targeted once on Sunday.

Austin Pasztor

Hometown: Langton, Ontario
NFL Team: Atlanta Falcons
Position: Offensive Guard
Up Next:  at Detroit Lions

The Falcons looked solid on Sunday night in their 34-23 win against Green Bay to improve to 2-0. Quarterback Matt Ryan went 19-of-28 for 252 yards and a touchdown, and running back Devonta Freeman picked up 84 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Their defense halted Aaron Rogers and the Packers, holding them to just 10 points through two and a half quarters, allowing the Falcons to go up 34-10 at one point.
