Dustin Johnson has some unfinished business to attend to at Glen Abbey.

The world's top-ranked golfer headlines the field for this week's RBC Canadian Open in Oakville, Ontario, returning to try to go one better than the 2016 edition, in which he tied for second place behind Jhonattan Vegas. Johnson has finished second twice in his four visits to the Canadian Open, and he heads into Thursday's first round as the favourite in a field that features no other players currently in the top 10.

Vegas, currently ranked 78th in the world, returns to defend his crown, while other notables include six of the top 50 golfers in the world — Matt Kuchar (12), Kevin Chappell (32), Brandt Snedeker (35), Bubba Watson (46) and Gary Woodland (47).

Adam Hadwin leads the Canadian contingent after participating in last week's British Open. At 55th in the world, the 29-year-old is the top-ranked Canadian in the field. Other participating players from Canada include Hugo Bernard, Graham DeLaet, Brad Fritsch, David Hearn, Matt Hill, Mackenzie Hughes, Austin James, Bryn Parry, Garrett Rank, Nick Taylor, Jared du Toit and former Masters winner Mike Weir.
