Heavy rainfall in the New York area forced the postponement of several U.S. Open matches on Tuesday, with Genie Bouchard and Vasek Pospisil among the players affected.

The Canadians will play their matches on Thursday, with Bouchard featuring in one of the day's opening matches. The 23-year-old will face Evgeniya Rodina at Arthur Ashe Stadium at 11 a.m. ET in a Round of 128 contest.
On the men's side, Pospisil will face Spaniard Fernando Verdasco Wednesday afternoon on Court 15, while teen sensation Denis Shapovalov seeks to continue his winning ways in a Round of 64 match against eighth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at 8:15 p.m. ET at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
