All the games for Tuesday's daily fantasy baseball man slate begin in the evening, and the potential pitcher picks are like a buffet of red-hot and dominant pitchers.
Chris Sale is our top pick (20.2 IP, 33 K, 0 ER in past three starts), followed by Max Scherzer, but if there was ever a night to save money, tonight is the night. Jon Lester has been heating up lately, and he faces a D-backs team batting .232 with a 25.5 percent K-rate against lefties (both among the bottom five). Marcus Stroman and Mike Fiers both have great matchups and should definitely be considered. Aaron Nola, Carlos Carrasco, Jimmy Nelson and Chris Archer don't have the best matchups, but they also aren't the worst. They've been doing pretty well lately, and all four could easily have great performances.
Jose Berrios (at SD) and Carlos Martinez (at MIL) are coming off so-so starts, but they both face teams among the bottom two in K-rates against righties this season. Also, Jeff Samardijza was dominant last time out and owns a career 5-2 record with a 3.15 ERA in 10 starts at the Oakland Coliseum.
