Kim Boutin is a two-time Olympic bronze medallist at Pyeongchang.

The Canadian placed third in the women's 1500 metre short track speed skating event to claim her second bronze of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Boutin also won a bronze in the women's 500 metre event earlier this week that was followed by controversy as the 23-year-old was forced to shut down her social media accounts after receiving death threats.

Despite the ugly nature of the aftermath of her first medal, Boutin appeared composed and in control throughout her 1500 metre race. She entered the final lap in second place, but was passed by China's Li Jinyu in the closing stages. However, Boutin was able to hold off the rest of the field to claim her second-straight podium finish.

Korean Choi Min-jeong, the same racer who was disqualified in the 500 metres to allow Boutin to take bronze in that event, won gold in at time of 2:24.948.

With her second bronze in Pyeongchang, Boutin becomes the first Canadian woman to win multiple individual short track medals at the same Winter Games.
