Most teams would be satisfied with six goals in one game, never mind one period.

The Winnipeg Jets went on a scoring onslaught during the first period of Saturday's tilt with the Anaheim Ducks, as the club found the back of the net on six occasions.

Netting goals for the Jets were Jack Roslovic (two), Brendan Lemieux, Andrew Copp, Bryan Little and Blake Wheeler.

It marked the most goals scored in one period in Atlanta Thrashers/Jets history. The Thrashers were founded in 1999 and stayed in Atlanta before relocating to Winnipeg prior to the 2011-12 season.
