Night gives way to day as Hockey Day in Canada returns for a 20th year.
The annual celebration of hockey across the country makes its latest stop in Yellowknife, as the popular broadcast spotlights the game in one of the most northerly communities in Canada. Expect the Northwest Territories to take center stage throughout the day's program, all surrounding the early game between Ottawa and Winnipeg.
With four games on tap, all seven Canadian teams will play on the combined Hockey Day/Night broadcast.

Who plays on Hockey Night in Canada tonight?
- Ottawa Senators vs. Winnipeg Jets
- Puck drop: 2 p.m. ET
Kicking off the NHL's Saturday schedule is a noon local start for the Jets as they host the Sens. Neither team starts the day in a playoff spot, although Winnipeg is embroiled in a dogfight for a wild card berth and should be highly motivated.
- Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens
- Puck drop: 7 p.m. ET
The most storied rivalry in the NHL writes its latest chapter, although the disappointing Habs will need to start winning fast to climb back into the postseason conversation.
- Nashville Predators vs. Edmonton Oilers
- Puck drop: 7 p.m. ET
Two teams currently on the playoff bubble meet in Edmonton, with the Oilers looking to end a two-game skid.
- Calgary Flames vs. Vancouver Canucks
- Puck drop: 10 p.m. ET
The host Flames have lost three in a row and Vancouver's dropped two straight. Something's gotta give.
