"Hockey Night in Canada" returns Saturday with four games airing across the country.
Saturday's games feature six Canadian teams in action, including two all-Canadian matchups with playoff implications.
Here are the matchups:
Who plays on 'Hockey Night in Canada' tonight?
- Vancouver Canucks vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
- Puck drop: 7 p.m. ET
Both teams are battling injuries to key players as they continue their playoff push. The Maple Leafs are coming off a road sweep in Florida against the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers. Vancouver is looking to bounce back after a 5-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators as they're in the midst of a four-game, East Coast swing.
- Carolina Hurricanes vs. Montreal Canadiens
- Puck drop: 7 p.m. ET
Something has to give in Montreal with both teams on two-game losing streaks. The Hurricanes continue to shuffle their goaltenders, having played five over the last week. Montreal is looking to improve its defense after giving up at least three goals in eight of its last nine games.
- Detroit Red Wings vs. Ottawa Senators
- Puck drop: 7 p.m. ET
Ottawa takes the ice for the first time since Bobby Ryan's emotional hat trick Thursday night. The Red Wings enter Saturday's contest having lost four straight games by a combined score of 19-5.
- Winnipeg Jets vs. Edmonton Oilers
- Puck drop: 10 p.m. ET
The Jets might be without Patrik Laine for Saturday's game after he left Thursday's game with a lower-body injury. The Oilers look to bounce back after dropping a back-to-back against the Anaheim Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights earlier in the week. Edmonton will be down newly acquired defenseman Mike Green, who was ruled out for three to four weeks with a knee injury.
