The Florida Panthers headed into Tuesday on a three-game winning streak, and Aleksander Barkov ensured that they would extend that run by at least one more victory.
Barkov scored the final two goals as the Panthers defeated the Canucks 3-1 on Tuesday, helping to continue his own team's win streak while also handing Vancouver its second loss in as many games.

The 22-year-old gave Florida the lead late in the second period after pulling off a skilful move to collect a pass at the Vancouver blue line and putting a well-placed backhand shot past Jacob Markstrom.
Barkov outskated a pair of Canucks and added an empty netter in the game's dying moments to seal the victory. He now has 18 goals in 50 games so far this season.
