The well has run dry in Vancouver.
With the Canucks' 3-0 loss to the Ducks in Anaheim on Wednesday night, Vancouver has gone three straight games without a goal. The team hasn't scored since the 7:51 mark of a March 9 clash against the Minnesota Wild, which ended up as a 5-2 loss for the Canucks.
The lengthy drought is nearly unheard of in the modern game, as the last time the Canucks went goal-less for three consecutive games was over 34 years ago.
#Canucks suffer 3 straight shutout losses for the first time since January 7-10, 1984.

Adding insult to injury, Vancouver extended its losing streak to five games with Wednesday's result. The Canucks have won just twice in their past 10 games.
Despite the dire stretch, some within the Canucks team are still finding positives. Defenceman Michael Del Zotto told reporters on Wednesday that he "loved" the team's effort against the Ducks, but he acknowledged that "ultimately it’s about winning."
“I loved our effort tonight. We had quality looks and were just unable to score. There’s a lot we can take from this, but ultimately it’s about winning and we haven’t been doing that.” - Del Zotto
