Things are back even in the Western Conference Final with both teams having won and lost at home after the Oilers picked up a 5-2 win Wednesday night. The best-of-seven series is now a best of three.

Connor McDavid did Connor McDavid things, assisting three times as Edmonton stormed back from an early 2-0 deficit to net five straight. Evan Bouchard, Leon Draisaitl, Mattias Ekholm, Mattias Janmark and Ryan McLeod each contributed a goal for the Oilers. Janmark was the one to give them the lead, converting on a one-time finish at 14:31 in the second period.

Dallas led early after Wyatt Johnston scored in the first minute of the game, and Esa Lindell converted later in the first frame. The Stars couldn't get anything else past Stuart Skinner, who made 20 saves for the Oilers.

A game that played out in the fashion of Wednesday's can be a turning point emotionally for both teams. Will the Oilers continue with their momentum and regain control of the series, or will the Stars regroup with the help of their home crowd?
