The Avalanche had a chance to clinch the Stanley Cup Final on Friday. They fell just short, losing to the Lightning 3-2 in Game 5 on a late goal by Ondrej Palat.

Colorado gets another chance to close out the series Sunday night with Game 6 in Tampa. The Avs don't want to wait any longer to raise the Cup.

The Lightning are looking to play spoiler again. The defending two-time champions stayed alive with the Game 5 win, but they need to do it two more times. The club is 8-2 on home ice this postseason.
