Too soon?
A St. Louis newspaper published a letter Sunday from Blues owner Tom Stillman in which he thanked his fans after "the elation of breaking through and bringing St. Louis its first-ever Stanley Cup."
Only problem is the Blues still have to beat the Bruins in Game 6 on Sunday before they can clinch the Cup.
The ad pages in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch were limited to the subscribers-only E-edition of the paper and quickly taken down, but not before they went viral on social media.

"Winning the Stanley Cup was a dream come true for so many of you. All of us will remember where we were, what we did and how we felt when the Blues brought the Cup home," Stillman wrote, in part.
Stillman also expressed his excitement about the team's championship parade in the letter, which is sure to only fuel the fire for the trailing Bruins as they look to send the series back to Boston for a deciding Game 7.
Beth O'Malley, online content coordinator for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, said that "in preparation for the outcome of the Stanley Cup Final, some of our readers got a sneak peek at what our advertisers are hoping to say to the Blues, the fans and St. Louis. We apologize for the sneak peek and hope to share their messages with everyone very soon!"
The Blues lead the Bruins 3-2 in the series and have a chance to close it out in front of a home crowd Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
