Maybe Ryan Dzingel should always be a game-time decision.
On Sunday, the winger left practice twice due to a lower-body injury he suffered during the skate, according to Postmedia hockey columnist Bruce Garrioch.
But on Monday afternoon, he seemed to be just fine as he scored twice in the Senators 6-3 loss to the Boston Bruins.

In the second period, the 26-year-old jumped off the bench as Ottawa controlled play deep in the Bruins zone and drove to the net. Mark Stone hit the streaking Dzingel who was initially stoned by Tuukka Rask. Stone got the rebound attempt and then chipped the bouncing puck right to an uncovered Dzingel at the right post.
Later in the period, off dump-in that rattled around, Dzingel fired the shot past Rask who may have been screened by his 6-foot, 9-inch defenseman Zdeno Chara.
Entering the game, Dzingel, who had 23 goals and 18 assists in 79 games last season, had two assists in the Senators first two games.
