Former Ottawa Senators assistant general manager Randy Lee had one of two second-degree harassment charges against him dropped on Thursday, but he will still face a non-jury trial on Nov. 9 in Buffalo.

Lee was accused of rubbing the shoulders of a 19-year-old and making lewd comments while the teenager was driving a hotel shuttle in Buffalo, N.Y. in May. In July, he pleaded not guilty to one of the charges levied against him and filed a motion to have both charges dropped, and on Thursday judge Amy C. Martoche dismissed one of the charges against the former longtime Senators executive.

Lee was suspended by the Senators organization in June before resigning last month

The charges against Lee are punishable by up to 15 days in jail, but an Erie County district attorney said in June that a fine is more likely.
