There's something about the Panthers and overtimes.
Carter Verhaeghe potted the game-winning goal 4:27 into OT on Thursday to lift the Panthers to a 3-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. Florida kept its perfect OT record this postseason intact, improving to 7-0. The victory also cut Vegas' lead in the series to two games to one.

The Golden Knights led 2-1 heading into the final period thanks to power-play goals by Mark Stone and Jonathan Marchessault, but the Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk scored with the goaltender pulled to tie the contest before the end of regulation.
In overtime, Verhaeghe beat Vegas goaltender Adin Hill with a long-range shot through traffic for his second overtime winner of the playoffs.
