The Oilers and Kings first-round series shifts to L.A., as Game 3 of the matchup is set for Friday.

After Los Angeles grabbed a thrilling 4-3 OT win in Game 1, Edmonton responded in Game 2, coming out on top 4-2 to even the series at 1-1.

Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl has been the best player in the series so far. The German center produced a goal and two assists in Edmonton's victory on Wednesday.

"[Draisaitl] found a way to get things done in different ways," Oilers head coach Jay Woodcroft said. "He’s a big reason why we won the game."

So far, the two teams have followed a similar pattern to their 2022 first-round series. Los Angeles took Game 1 last year in Edmonton before the Oilers bounced back in Game 2 to even the series.
