Vegas has a chance to take a commanding 2-0 series lead tonight in their second-round series against Edmonton.

The Golden Knights host the Oilers for Game 2 of their matchup on Saturday night. Vegas won a back-and-forth Game 1 on Wednesday by a score of 6-4 to go up in the series 1-0.

Led by two goals from Ivan Barbashev, the Golden Knight dominated the Oilers at 5 on 5. Eleven different skaters on Vegas recorded at least one point in the opening win.

For the Oilers, it was all about Leon Draisaitl. The Edmonton star potted all four goals in the losing effort, including two goals on the power play.

Draisaitl's performance was the 41st time in NHL history that a player scored at least four goals in a single playoff game. It was the fourth time a player did so in a losing effort, joining Ray Ferraro, Denis Savard and Joe Pavelski, who scored four goals the night before in the Stars' Game 1 loss to the Kraken.

A win will put the Golden Knights up two games before the series shifts to Edmonton. Meanwhile, the Oilers are trying to salvage a split in Vegas.
