Sunday's Game 6 loss to the Blues is probably one Stars' goaltender Ben Bishop would like to forget.
Not only did Bishop allow all four goals in Dallas' 4-1 defeat, but in the span of 38 seconds, he was hit in the collar bone by a slapshot leading to two St. Louis goals and was benched for backup Anton Khudobin.
The Stars entered the third period down 2-1 with the game completely within reach until the 7:32 mark when a Colton Parayko slapshot found one of the few unpadded areas on Bishop's body. Bishop went down, essentially emptying the net for Alexander Steen, whose shot was redirected by Jaden Schwartz for the goal.
The Vezina Trophy finalist remained in the game but lasted for just 33 seconds as Sammy Blais scored the first playoff goal of his career to put the Blues up by three. Bishop was then substituted for Khudobin and taken for an X-ray.
After the game, Star head coach Jim Montgomery said Bishop is "fine" and the X-ray "precautionary."
Monty says that Ben Bishop is fine. Now it's back to St. Louis for one more game.

"He's fine, he stayed in the game, he's fine," Montgomery said. "We just wanted to put [Khudobin] in. He wasn't hurt, that's why we switched."
Montgomery seems confident he'll have his starting netminder for Game 7 Tuesday. Bishop will have to rebound from his Game 6 performance if Dallas hopes to reach its first Western Conference Finals since 2008.
