The 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Where s—t happens.
... Or something like that.
It would have been hard to imagine a Winnipeg Jets victory Tuesday night after 20 minutes. The Jets trailed the Predators 3-0 through the first period of Game 3, and didn't look like they were going to be able to mount much of a comeback.
But that's just what the Jets did, when they scored four goals in the second period to take a 4-3 lead, and then three more in the third period to stave off a Predators comeback to win an improbable one, 7-4.
Two of those second period goals were scored by Dustin Byfuglien, including the fourth and final tally of the period to give Winnipeg its first lead of the night.

Byfuglien hung around to do an interivew on the bench postgame with NBC, and was asked how the Jets managed to claw their way back into and eventually win Game 3.
"Well, we weren't terrible in the first (period)," Byfuglien said. "It was just, we weren't moving our feet quick enough. It was just little things that we just said we could get better and, the second period we just came out moving our feet and, got on the puck and, s—t happens."

For those keeping score that's the second time this postseason an NHL player has used that phrase to describe the goings on of a playoff game. Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews said it following a Game 2 loss in the first round against the Boston Bruins.
Luckily for Byfuglien -- unlike Matthews -- his business ended with a victory.
