As the top pick in the most recent NHL Draft, a lot is expected of Nico Hischier.
The New Jersey Devils rookie notched four assists in his first six games in the league, but Hischier didn't score a goal through nearly the first two weeks of his NHL career.

The 18-year-old's wait for a goal came to an end on Thursday night, as he scored twice in less than two minutes against the Ottawa Senators.
At 2:30 of the first period, Hischier scored his first-ever NHL goal after receiving a nifty diving pass from Drew Stafford. The Swiss teenager made no mistake from in close, rifling the puck over a sprawling Craig Anderson to give his team the 1-0 lead.
The Senators responded less than 30 seconds later through Kyle Turris, but Hischier put the Devils back in front at 4:21. With the puck behind the New Jersey net, Hirschier headed toward the goal and stuffed a Taylor Hall feed past Anderson.
Hischier was the first Swiss-born player to be selected No. 1 overall in the NHL draft.
