Despite being heavily outshot by the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday afternoon, the Montreal Canadiens managed to pour in five goals and snap a three-game losing streak in a 5-2 victory at the Bell Centre.
Anaheim unloaded 45 shots at Montreal goaltender Antti Niemi but didn't score a goal until the game was already decided. The Canadiens were the picture of efficiency, potting three first-period goals on just nine shots before Jeff Petry scored early in the second period to give Montreal a 4-0 lead.

Ducks forwards Corey Perry and Rickard Rakell finally solved Niemi in the middle of the second period, but by then it was too late.
Petry then scored his second of the game in the third period to solidify Montreal's lead for good.
Saturday's win is the Canadiens' first since a 4-2 victory over Colorado on Jan. 23. Montreal is now 21-25-6 on the season.
