The Montreal Canadiens will be happy to see a team other than the Minnesota Wild.
Amid a good stretch of games, Montreal has lost two straight against the Wild — including a 3-0 loss on Thursday that was the result of a disastrous third period.
On Saturday, the Canadiens will be looking to get back into the win column when the struggling Buffalo Sabres visit the Bell Centre. Charlie Lindgren will once again start in goal with Zachary Fucale in reserve, as Al Montoya and Carey Price deal with injury.
The Sabres are coming off their second loss of November on Friday night, when the visiting Florida Panthers left Buffalo with a 4-1 victory. The quick turnaround will allow the Sabres to forget about Friday's loss and will present an opportunity for last-place Buffalo to overtake a Montreal team mired in 14th place in the Eastern Conference.
Here is the Canadiens' projected lineup:
Pacioretty - Danault- Shaw
Galchenyuk - Drouin - Lehkonen
Byron - Plekanec - Gallagher
Hudon - Mitchell - Froese
Benn - Weber
Alzner - Petry
Benn - Davidson
Lindgren
Scratched: Jacob De La Rose, Joe Morrow
Injured: Carey Price, Al Montoya, David Schlemko, Ales Hemsky, Nikita Scherbak
