The Vegas Golden Knights may have their starting goalie back soon.
Marc-Andre Fleury skated at practice Wednesday for the first time since suffering a concussion against Detroit on Oct. 13, according to multiple reports. Fleury started Vegas’ first four games, registering a 3-1-0 record and a .925 save percentage.

Vegas coach Gerard Gallant said on Oct. 23 that Fleury would be four-to-five days away from re-entering the Golden Knights lineup once he returned to the ice. Vegas acquired the three-time Stanley Cup champion from Pittsburgh in the expansion draft.

The Golden Knights have been plagued by injuries in net throughout their inaugural season. Malcolm Subban, who replaced Fleury, has been out since mid-October with a lower body injury and third stringer Oscar Dansk sustained a similar injury later in the month. Dansk was 3-0-0 in four appearances with a stellar 1.78 GAA and .946 save percentage before getting hurt.
Vegas was then forced to insert untested rookie Maxime Lagace into the lineup. He owns a 1-4-1 record and .866 save percentage during his stint with the Golden Knights. WHL call-up Dylan Ferguson is currently serving as Lagace’s backup.
