For the second night in a row, the Toronto Maple Leafs won the game but lost a player.
The Leafs defeated the Sabres 5-2 on Thursday in Buffalo, but they lost Leo Komarov after the forward collided with teammate William Nylander.
Komarov logged just over eight minutes before the collision with Nylander, which happened midway through the second period. Nylander was skating backwards in the Leafs' zone before accidentally hitting Komarov.

The 31-year-old had to be helped off the ice and did not return to the game. The team announced Komarov had suffered a "lower body injury."

However, Komarov was seen walking after the game.
@sportingnewsca Update on Leo Komarov, was seen walking in #Leafs dressing room. Mike Babcock indicated that he passed all the tests on his lower body injury, but does not know if that means he plays on Saturday or misses a game.

Komarov's injury comes just a day after goaltender Frederik Andersen was forced to leave midway through Toronto's 6-5 overtime win over Dallas.
