The Maple Leafs held a 5-on-3 power play advantage with just over five minutes to go in the second period against the Devils on Tuesday night, but that didn’t stop New Jersey from scoring.
New Jersey tallied a shorthanded goal after John Moore and Pavel Zacha were called for hooking and tripping penalties, respectively. Already holding a 3-2 advantage, the Devils added to their lead when Andy Greene dumped a pass along the boards that was picked up by Adam Henrique, who skated into the Maple Leafs' zone and sent a shot on goal.

Henrique’s shot was stopped by Toronto goaltender Frederik Andersen, but Brian Gibbons corralled the rebound and fired a shot into the back of the net.
