Kyle Palmieri did it again.

The 27-year-old forward scored the first goal for the New Jersey Devils for the fourth consecutive game, making him the first player in NHL history to score the first goal in his team's first four games.

Less than four minutes into Tuesday nights contest, and with the Devils on the power play, Will Butcher found Palmieri at the top of the left faceoff circle for the one-timer past Stars goalie Anton Khudobin.

The Smithtown, NY native also became the third player in NHL history to score a power-play goal in three of his team's first four games. Bronco Horvath (1959-60) and Dino Ciccarelli (1986-87) were the other two players to do it.

With the goal, it continues the impressive start for Palmieri as he already has seven goals this season. Prior to the Devils 3-0 win over Dallas, Palmieri scored two goals in each of the team's first three games, making him the fourth player in NHL history to complete that feat.

Last season it took Palmieri 23 games to score seven goals. He ended the year with 24 goals and 44 points.
