Just hours after getting fired by Sportsnet for insensitive comments regarding immigrants, Don Cherry was offered another position.
HC Dynamo Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League tweeted out to Cherry's handle on Tuesday morning: 'Hey, Don Cherry. We heard that you were fired. It’s not good! Come to Russia, we need an analyst for Dynamo TV who could talk whatever he thinks. We love old soldiers. And we will make a nice suit! We hope you agree.'
A few hours later, the KHL's English Twitter handle quote tweeted: 'Hockey Night in Russia?'

Considering Cherry is well known for his controversial comments regarding Russians and European players, it's unlikely he accepts the offer —whether it's legitimate or not. HC Dynamo Moscow is primarily made up of Russian players, including former Buffalo Sabres star Maxim Afinogenov, and the second player ever signed by the Vegas Golden Knights — who was then suspended and terminated for failing to report to the AHL — Vadim Shipachyov.
