The NHLPA released its annual player poll Tuesday covering a wide range of topics. Among the questions posed to the players was, who is the best NHL team mascot?
In a landslide victory, Gritty won the vote for a second straight year earning a whopping 69.72 percent of the poll. Nashville Predators mascot Gnash and Arizona Coyotes mascot Howler rounded out the top three (at 2.80 percent each).

Here are some of Gritty's greatest moments.
Gritty falls on the ice
In their NHL debut as the Flyers mascot, Gritty went on the ice to fire t-shirts into the stands with a cannon. Just like any inexperienced skater, Gritty fell straight on to their backside after firing the coveted souvenir into the stands.
Extremely relatable.

"Came in like a wrecking ball"
In their regular-season debut, Gritty had one of the grandest entrances — dare we say, better than the Golden Knight? — swinging down from the rafters to the ice while Miley Cyrus' hit song "Wrecking Ball" played in the arena.
Eat your heart out @MileyCyrus, @GrittyNHL came in like a wrecking ball tonight.

Outdoor streaking
During the 2019 NHL Stadium Series, Gritty got into trouble with the authorities at Lincoln Financial Field as they began streaking. Whether or not Gritty was escorted to the stadium's jail is unknown.

Gritty taunts P.K. Subban, Brad Marchand
The seven-foot, orange creature has made sure to poke fun at opposing players during pre-game warmups.
Ahead of a game against the New Jersey Devils, Gritty held up a sign in defenseman P.K. Subban's direction about his fiancée Lindsey Vonn.

MORE: Brad Marchand's memorable chirps
Earlier this season, Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand overskated the puck in a shootout against the Flyers resulting in a Bruins defeat. In Boston's next trip to Philadelphia, Gritty made sure Marchand didn't forget that moment.
