And then there were two.

The Golden Knights and the Panthers are the only two teams left standing in the NHL playoff picture, as the 2023 Stanley Cup Final is up next.

The Panthers are looking to complete this Cinderella run that they have been on. Florida entered the playoffs with the worst record amongst playoff teams and quickly fell behind 3-1 in the first round against the record-setting Bruins before ripping off three consecutive wins to stun Boston.

In the second round, Florida dismantled Toronto in five games before sweeping Carolina in the conference finals to reach the franchise's first Stanley Cup Final since 1996.

The Golden Knights breezed past the Jets in five games in the first round before knocking out Connor McDavid and the Oilers in six games. Vegas built a 3-0 lead in the conference finals and after dropping two potential series-clinching contests, got the win in Game 6 to win the Western Conference.

This marks Vegas' second Stanley Cup Final berth in the six seasons the franchise has been in the league. The Golden Knights made it to the championship series in their inaugural season in 2018 but lost to the Capitals.

Both competing squads have never won a Stanley Cup. Who will be the ones to hoist Lord Stanley this year?
