After a rough start to the season for Sergei Bobrovsky and the Florida Panthers, things may be looking up for the Russian netminder. To kick off November, Bobrovsky recorded his first Panthers shutout on Saturday in a 4-0 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
The 31-year-old netminder pulled off a 22-save performance en route to the victory and came up big for his team on multiple occasions.
With the win, Bobrovsky is now 6-2-3 with a 3.36 GAA and .882 save percentage, which ranks 52nd in the league.

Through his first 12 games, Bobrovsky told The Athletic he was "not happy" with his October performance, which saw him finish with a 3.70 GAA and .873 save percentage while also being pulled on one occasion. It's not reminiscent of his career, in which he boasted a .913 save percentage or better in his last three seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
In his last two wins, though, the Russian netminder has impressed; against Colorado on Wednesday, he made 27 saves on 30 shots and against Edmonton on Oct. 27, he stopped 24 of 26 to lead Florida to a 6-2 win.
