Another year, another 100-point season for Connor McDavid.
The Edmonton Oilers superstar broke the triple-digit mark for the second-straight season when he assisted on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' first-period goal on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was McDavid's 61st assist of the year, and it gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead 3:37 into the game.

Less than three minutes after reaching one milestone, McDavid hit another one. With Nugent-Hopkins playing the role of provider, McDavid received the puck in the slot and put a backhander over goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky for his 40th goal of the season.
The goal was Edmonton's second of the night, and it made McDavid Edmonton's first 40-goal scorer in 27 years.

He didn't stop there, adding another assist midway through the first period to give McDavid three points in just over 10 minutes as the Oilers jumped out to a 3-0 lead. The Blue Jackets weren't dissuaded by the Oilers' talisman's brilliance though, going on to score seven straight times to claim a 7-3 win.
Regardless of his team's futility, 21-year-old McDavid continues to put his name in the history books alongside several Oilers and league greats. With two 100-point seasons, McDavid joins the likes of Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby as players who reached triple digits at least twice before their 22nd birthday.

In addition, McDavid is one of only six Oilers who have recorded multiple 100-point seasons.
