Carolina Hurricanes roster 2023: Projected lineup combinations, captains & coaching staff image

Carolina hasn't hoisted Lord Stanley since 2006. Does that change in 2023?

The Hurricanes are in the Eastern Conference Final against the Panthers, fighting for a spot in this year's Stanley Cup Final.

Carolina has consistently been one of the best teams in the NHL for a number of years now. The Hurricanes won the Metropolitan Division for a second consecutive season, ending the regular season with the second-best record behind the Bruins.

In the first two rounds, the Canes made quick work of both the Islanders and the Devils, defeating New York in six games to open the postseason before taking out New Jersey in five games.

Despite injuries to Andrei Svechnikov and Max Pacioretty, the depth of the Hurricanes has come through in these playoffs. Carolina plays arguably the best system in the league, and it's no surprise to see the club as one of the four left standing.
