Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is out indefinitely with a concussion, Montreal head coach Claude Julien announced Thursday.
Price's injury is confirmed two days after the goaltender took a slap shot to the mask against the Flyers and didn't leave the game. Montreal took a 3-2 overtime loss.

Price missed practice Wednesday to undergo treatment for his concussion symptoms. The same day, Charlie Lindgren was recalled from the AHL on an emergency basis. Defenseman Noah Juulsen was also recalled.

Antti Niemi has a 4.18 goals against average with a .880 save percentage across 13 games with the Habs this season.
Montreal faces off against the New York Rangers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
