There's one more preliminary-round game to go for Canada at the 2022 World Junior Championship, and it comes against its toughest opponent yet.

Canada and Finland are set to face off on the final day of group play. The teams own the top two spots in Group A, with Canada leading by one point. The winner of this contest will earn the No. 1 seed in Group A and get a quarterfinal matchup against the No. 4 seed in Group B.

In its last game, Mason McTavish scored two goals to propel Canada to a 5-1 win over Czechia on Saturday. The goals bumped his tournament goal total to six and his point total to 10. Kent Johnson scored a ridiculous Michigan goal and was one of five players to record two points in the game.

Finland secured its second regulation win of the tournament Sunday, beating Slovakia 9-3. It previously defeated Latvia 6-1 and came out on top against Czechia in a shootout.

Aatu Raty and Joakim Kemell are leading the way for the Finns; Raty's eight points rank him second among all skaters while Kemell is right behind with seven.
