The Calgary Flames seven-game winning streak has come to an end.
Calgary fell to the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 in a shootout Saturday afternoon. The Flames had last lost to the Anaheim Ducks 2-1 Dec. 29 before recording seven straight victories, including their first six games in January.
Calgary opened the scoring midway through the first period. With the teams skating four-on-four, TJ Brodie received the puck and sent a wrist shot past Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck into the left corner of the net.
