After falling to Carolina 2-1 on Thursday, the Calgary Flames are ready to bounce back.
The Flames host the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night in a series they've dominated as of late. Calgary won all three matchups last season, outscoring the Wild 9-3.
Calgary is making a few changes in its lineup, too, as coach Glen Gulutzan confirmed that Curtis Lazar, Freddie Hamilton and Brett Kulak will play, per NHL.com.
Yet as of late the Flames have been struggling with penalties. Calgary has found itself on the wrong side of a power play 20 times in the last three games, something Gulutzan isn't happy about.
“You can’t win if you’re going to spot somebody six power plays a night,” Gilutzan told FoxSports . “You’re not going to win. It’s just not happening.”
The Wild (1-2-2) are coming off a 4-3 loss at Winnipeg on Friday.
Here is the Flames' projected lineup:
Johnny Gaudreau - Sean Monahan - Jaromir Jagr
Matthew Tkachuk - Mikael Backlund - Michael Frolik
Kris Versteeg - Sam Bennett - Curtis Lazar
Micheal Ferland - Freddie Hamilton - Troy Brouwer
Mark Giordano - Dougie Hamilton
TJ Brodie - Travis Hamonic
Brett Kulak - Michael Stone
Mike Smith
