The Calgary Flames haven't been able to figure out how to win in overtime or in shootouts recently.
Fortunately for the Flames, they also haven't lost in regulation since Dec. 29.
Calgary's bizarre streak continued Thursday in a Battle of Alberta clash against Edmonton, with the Oilers claiming a 4-3 victory following a shootout.

Second-year Flames winger Matthew Tkachuk scored twice in the losing cause, with both goals coming off one-timers from in close. Tkachuk opened the scoring after 92 seconds of play, then scored the third-period goal that ultimately sent the game into overtime.
The result sees the Flames collect at least a point for the 11th straight game, but also extends the team's non-regulation losing streak to four games. The last time Calgary played a 60-minute game was a 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Jan. 14.
