Brock Boeser had himself a night on Tuesday, scoring a pair of power play goals within four minutes during a 6-2 Vancouver win against the Kings at Rogers Arena.

Boeser had gone the previous six games without scoring a goal, a stretch in which he notched just two assists.

However, that ended when the 20-year-old found the back of the net during the second period of Tuesday's game, wasting no time between shifts.

The first goal came off a rebounded backhand pass that put the Canucks at 5-1 over Los Angeles.

Retaliating against a Kings goal from Anze Kopitar, Boeser capitalized on a two-man advantage just three minutes after his previous goal, sending a slap shot from the top of the circle past Darcy Kuemper.

With his latest two goals, Boeser is tied with Jeremy Roenick for fifth-most goals by a U.S.-born NHL rookie. Should the Minnesota native keep up his current pace, he'll likely finish the year in the top three.

Vancouver also saw a pair of goals from Loui Eriksson, who opened up the scoring just over a minute into the first period.

The Canucks will be back on the ice Thursday to take on Buffalo at home.
