Bianca Andreescu has won a lot in 2019, and she's shared her success with just about every sports team in Toronto this season.
Having already attended victories in her hometown by Toronto FC, the Raptors, Jays and Canada's men's national soccer team this year, Andreescu still had one notable team lacking from her good luck tour of Toronto: the Maple Leafs.
On Saturday, the 2019 U.S. Open champion checked the hockey club off her list as she performed the ceremonial puck drop ahead of the Leafs' contest with the Boston Bruins at Scotiabank Arena.
A homecoming fitting for a champion 😍🏆

The 19-year-old has not shied away from the spotlight after tournament victories at Indian Wells, the Rogers Cup and the U.S. Open made her a household name throughout Canada. Andreescu could be seen around Toronto attending galas as well as sporting events, with her penchant for being in the stands for hometown team victories becoming more apparent with each passing contest.

Andreescu hot streak not confined to tennis
Bianca has attended following games:
MLS: TOR 3/29 - TFC wins
NBA: TOR 4/1 - Raps win
MLB: TOR 4/3 - Jays win
CFL: MTL 9/21 - Als win
Concacaf Nations League: TOR 10/15 - 🇨🇦 wins
NHL: TOR tonight - ???
The Leafs may not have been outwardly hoping to cash in on Andreescu's apparent golden touch when they invited her to drop the puck on Saturday, but they certainly wouldn't have refused any good luck against the Bruins.
If her influence is real, it didn't take long to have an effect as Morgan Rielly scored 5:55 into the first period to give Toronto a 1-0 lead against its Atlantic Division rival. The teams traded goals throughout the three periods of regulation, but Rielly's overtime goal gave the Leafs a 4-3 victory and kept Andreescu's record as a good luck charm intact.
