Zach Frazier wrestling highlights: Steelers' rookie center dominated opponents in high school image

Zach Frazier is touted as one of the toughest players in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he has more than just football highlights to show for it.

He was a dominant wrestler in high school before committing to West Virginia for football. The Steelers drafted him with the 19th pick in the second round — the 51st overall pick — to join the Pittsburgh offensive line.

Frazier plays the center position and will aid in protecting quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. He joins fellow offensive lineman Troy Fautanu as the first two picks for the Steelers in this year's NFL Draft.

While Frazier won't necessarily be wrestling anymore, his skillset certainly transitioned to football. Here's what the rookie center looked like in high school and his stats on the mat.

If you think Frazier is an excellent offensive lineman, he may have been even better on the wrestling mats.

He was a four-time HWT champion during his high school career.

Frazier also didn't lose much while wrestling. He finished his career with a 159-2 record, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He wrestled at the 285-pound mark.
