General managers, scouts, and fans still have many unanswered questions about Kentucky QB Will Levis.
Levis has often been mentioned in the same breath as Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud despite not having nearly the same college production. He intrigues NFL front offices with his arm strength, mechanics, and stature that mimic some of the league's most successful quarterbacks today.
Still, Levis a more unknown commodity than Young and Stroud as the NFL Draft approaches after throwing 23 interceptions in two seasons as Kentucky's starter.

Many of these questions won't be answered until we see Levis on an NFL field, and that's okay. For now, we're setting out to answer equally as pressing off-the-field questions about some of Levis' most bizarre food habits.
Why does Will Levis put mayo in his coffee?
Yes, Levis puts mayo in his coffee as if it's milk or creamer. He told Kentucky Sports Radio that the practice began purely out of curiosity when he was eating at a restaurant with his girlfriend.
According to Levis, his girlfriend jokingly suggested there was mayo on the table because some people might put it in their coffee. Some would respond with a laugh. Levis responded by trying it.
In July, he put his money where his mouth is and drank coffee with mayo on camera.
Unfortunately, Levis didn't lose any kind of bet. He just likes the taste of mayo in his coffee, by all indications. It's the kind of habit that makes Patrick Mahomes' affinity for ketchup on everything from steak to mac-and-cheese look perfectly normal in comparison.

If Levis can be a long-term starting quarterback in the NFL, teams will gladly live with his penchant for mayo. It's just too bad he never had the chance to play in the Duke's Mayo Bowl while at Kentucky.
Why does Will Levis eat bananas whole?
Before anyone knew about his fateful coffee and mayo combination, another one of Levis' habits raised eyebrows.
Weeks before debuting at Kentucky in 2021, Levis posted a TikTok video of himself eating a banana whole — peel and all. Not only did he eat the peel, but the peel was almost completely brown.
"I don’t fear the brown spots on bananas. They fear me," Levis captioned the video.

Levis opened up about the habit in an interview with Barstool Sports in 2022, admitting, "I definitely from time to time do still eat the bananas with the peel on."

Levis said he eats bananas both ways and "didn't think much of it" when he posted the video, but he said he's heard fans try to troll him about his banana-eating.
Mark Stoops told @AlyssaLang he'd eat an unpeeled banana if Will Levis threw for 400 yards. Levis was pulled after throwing for 367 yards.

Banana peels are not only edible but contain a high amount of nutrients and vitamins. It's not common to eat the peel because it doesn't have an appealing taste and is tough to chew, but Levis is evidently willing to ignore the downsides.
If he turns out to be the best quarterback in this draft class, Levis might just inspire some other young athletes to go all-in on banana peels.
